Collingwood Football Club, one of the most iconic names in the AFL, is proud to announce a historic collaboration with NED Australian Whisky to commemorate the club’s 16th VFL/AFL premiership with a limited-edition, collector’s whisky. This exclusive release, named “Sweet 16“, pays homage to Collingwood’s rich history and unrivalled success in the Australian Football League, capturing the spirit of triumph and dedication that defines both Collingwood and NED Australian Whisky.
Crafted for sharing, celebrating and enjoying, NED is distilled from the finest Australian grain using a proprietary process that takes the best of single malt production and sour mash techniques and aged until it has a boldness and character worthy of its legendary name.
TASTING NOTES
Aroma: Oak, caramel, vanilla with hints of almond.
Taste: Rich taste of dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and punch of oak, followed by almond and macadamia.
Finish: Long finish with lasting notes of vanilla, milk chocolate, orange peel and oak.
An overarching flavour that is bathed in dark toffee, orange peel and caramel.
