Whiskies are meant to be open and enjoyed, which means they can't last forever. While we're always looking forward to the next idea, always pushing flavour, it's always fun to look back at the bottles and memories we've created.
2020-2021
THE WANTED SERIES
What started as a lockdown experiment became the birth of warehouse innovation. A series of six limited release expressions developed by the maturation team, we looked at different oak types, different barrel sizes and barrel harvest techniques to push the flavour boundaries of NED while remaining with the house mash bill.
2022
SINGLE BARREL FINISHES
The Single Barrel Finish series explored big, bold flavours from the world beyond whisky. Exceptionals barrels of NED were transferred into barrels that had held wine or other spirits previously for a 'finish', the whisky soaking up the flavours in the oak. It resulted in four of the most unique NED expressions to date.
2021-CURRENT
SOUNDS OF BATHURST
Epitomising our approach to innovation, Sounds of Bathurst is our annual series of 'Sound Aged' whiskies. NED barrels are extra aged to the roar of V8-powered Supercars racing at the iconic Bathust 1000. Part of our partnership with Supercars and Grove Racing.
2022-2023
QRL MAROONS
From our time with the Maroons State of Origin team, where the shared ideals of mateship, bravery and daring inspired a couple of releases, including one crafted with the iconic 'Queenslander!' chant.
