Our friends at Act Of Treason make one of the world's best agave spirits - tequila but made in Australia. 

They use ex-NED Australian Whisky barrels for their award winning Reposado and they've now unveiled the remarkable Extra Aged. It also utilises barrels which previously held our whisky, for a longer maturation period that included the intense Whitsundays wet season.

Made from 100% Australian-grown agave tequilana, the Act Of Treason farm and distillery is located in Queensland's Whitsundays and it has been fascinating to see what our barrels do to spirit in a tropical climate. Very different to Melbourne but resulting in equally delicious spirit.  

With the familiar backbone of cooked agave, this shows notes of cut grass and lime notes, layered with rich vanilla, caramel and oak.

Australia Delivery Fees
There is a flat $10 Australia-wide delivery fee and free shipping for orders over $125. Orders are sent via Australia Post eParcel. You will receive a tracking number, via email, once your order is shipped. Unfortunately we don’t deliver to PO boxes.

Currently we are unable to ship internationally, all orders require a valid Australian address. 

RETURNS POLICY
NED apparel – If the size you have ordered is incorrect or doesn’t fit, please contact us to arrange an exchange within 14 days. Please email us at info@nedwhisky.com.au.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be returned within 14 days of purchase, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The return postage cost is the responsibility of the customer.  

REFUNDS

OUR WHISKY BARRELS

Having served their purpose matured NED Australian Whisky in our Melbourne warehouse, we select specific casks chosen for their char level and aroma, and send them 2,000 kilometres north to the Act Of Treason farm near the coast in the Whitsundays.

THEIR AGAVE SPIRIT

The barrels enjoy a second life, maturing Act Of Treason's world class agave spirit at their Eden Lassie farm. Perhaps the most exciting Australian spirits project in a generation, it's not a bad little 'retirement' location.

The result in a multiple gold medal-winning release that combines this rich vegetal notes of the agave plant and the mellow, buttery aromas of NED whisky barrels.

HOW IS IT MADE?

All of the Australian agave spirit is twice copper pot distilled by hand. All cuts and distillates are made and tasted by the team before barrelling.
