Bringing Aussie character and flair to American traditions, NED Australian Whisky and the Australian Baseball Lague have partnered for the 2024-25 season to release the first ever NED x ABL Limited Edition.

A special edition label of our famed Grand Reward release, NED x ABL is a limited run on 250 bottles.

NED Australian Whisky, a bourbon-style whisky made in Australia, is known for taking an American classic and adding an Australian character. Made from Australian grains and imparted with a distinct Aussie character, the spirit of innovation aligns perfectly with the ABL's approach to baseball – a sport deeply rooted in American tradition, now infused with Aussie flair.

The NED x ABL release uses premium NED whisky barrels that are further matured in ex-tawny casks from the Rutherglen region.

They give a sweet, deep dried fruit aroma to the powerful and mouth-coating NED spirit.

Each bottle includes free Australia-wide shipping.

NED X ABL

AUSSIE FLAIR AND CHARACTER ON THE MOUND AND IN THE BOTTLE
NED x ABL LIMITED EDITION
TASTING NOTES

Aroma: Rich and luxurious nose of ripe red berries, dried figs, creme caramel and milk chocolate. The luscious sweetness sits above gentle cereal notes which emerge with time in the glass.

Palate: A very silky texture, this glides onto the tongue and then coats the mouth. Raspberry, figs, raisin and almonds leading to forest floor, fruit-and-nut chocolate with a gentle spice providing structure.

Finish: Red berries and sweet nutty notes return, with a subtle backbone of cracked pepper and cereal notes.

Distillers' Comments: A dance of tawny sweetness and classic NED notes. Rarely does corn whisky receive a tawny cask finish and this is a very unique experience, the brightness of the spirit has given the sweetness of the cask a vibrant dexterity. The nose is a showstopper and the palate is very soft for 50%, the cereal notes of the whisky maintaining a structure and length that's both satisfying and moreish.

"NED at a higher ABV definitely sings, and there's a lot to like here... the tawny finish has been really well managed - it's not overbearing in the slightest."
