WIN a brand new 20 litre NED barrel and enough mature whisky to fill it!

Barrel maturation is a key element of making whisky and now you can experience it at home with the NED x Local Liquor Win A Barrel Promo. As whisky matures in a barrel it gains flavour and colour over multiple years, but we'll be accelerating that process so you and your mates can enjoy finished, mature whisky right from the get-go. 

The winner will be sent an empty 20 litre barrel and enough of our award-winning NED Australian Whisky to full your barrel! The barrel is made by one of Australia's highest-regarded and longest-serving coopers, Andrew Young of Seppeltsfield Cooperage. They will ensure the barrel is prepped ready for filling when it arrives with you. Once you've filled the whisky into the barrel (we encourage throwing a party to do so, it's good fun) over the next weeks, months and years the whisky will evolve into something uniquely yours and you'll be able to taste the process as it does.

Essentially you'll have your own private barrelhouse to understand the process of maturing whisky and have your own whisky on tap whenever you need it.

Winner will be determined by: A panel from the NED team will choose the most creative and inspiring entries.

Who can enter: Entry is open to Australian residents in all eligible states/territories who are 18 years of age or older and fulfil the method of entry requirements.
